Due to the expansion of its operations, a leading International Construction/ Project Management company is currently recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyors across various locations in the Middle East.

Responsibilities will include:

• Verification of budgets and cost estimates for design and construction, including estimating and cost verification for design and construction, variation orders and design consultant or contractor claims, Commercial evaluation of bid submittals from contractors and consultants.
• Assist in the development of separate design and construction bid packages and participate in the review of tender documentation for coordination checks, errors and omissions.
• Participate in constructability, and life cycle costing and various A/E Value Engineering workshops (if required).
• Assist with the pre-qualification of separate contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Assist with the analysis and evaluation of design proposal submissions, and construction tenders.
• Assist with the evaluation and negotiation of design consultant and construction contractor change orders and claims.
• Assist in preparing supporting documentation for PMCS monthly reporting.

Skills

• Suitable relevant degree with 10+ years of experience (5 must be in the Gulf region), preferably with multinational construction companies
• Experience on high rise, hotels, housing developments and retail development
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal, communications skills
• Willing to relocate

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
